Nah all my friends complain when I ask for rides. I rode my bike a few miles today to check on one but I blacked out at the counter and can't remember if I ordered it or not.. True story

That guy may never have taken it off CL. After this weekend I sure feel like it should be back on there though. Went through everything I could over the weekend. The trans was out for the rear main seal. The engine got torn into, for the sake of the valve cover gaskets. That vacuum system is another story huh? My VW was easier than that. My issue was the gasket they gave me was a one piece. It had two half circles on it instead of just one and the separate piece that goes by the rear bearing cap. My mistake was not looking at it until the last minute. I snipped it off and tried some JB weld to fill the void since the stuff just cracks off when you need to get it out to put the new gasket in. I wish I could have gotten through something without riggin something up. I just never have good luck. At least the exhaust bolts came loose. Burlington huh? Well your welcome to come take a look at it if you like. I could use some encouragement..

For a 2.8? They gave me the wrong one and I have no way to get any where to pick one up now that I pulled it.

Ha ya I saw that you did. (I am sorry... ;) ) (Joking) I meant on the forums. Vortex mainly, the majority of the people suck on there. Too many opinions, I see it as it's your vehicle, do what you want. I felt like I was back in high school. No I haven't pulled the carpet back yet. I just got the thing on Monday. I will most likely be taking the seats out this weekend to pull off the material and clean it up all nice. I would like to find that same/close material but that may be hard to come by. The bottom of the floor underneath looks a little bad so I assume it won't be good. I just got done messing with my brakes for the night. I blew a line in the rear. SO where do I find good parts? That is easy to navigate. Thanks for all the compliments on the interior, is this sought after?

Thanks, I hope I don't have to ask as many questions as I had to with my last car.... (VW) :ack: Talk about a stuck up community. This frame is in real good shape, it still has most of its OE undercoating. The body rust is mostly surface. The only bad is the drivers cab corner. Nice to find some patch panels someday. As for now I am just going through the front end, fixing the exhaust, and upholstering the seat. The rest will just be unplanned. Thanks I do like the black as well. Land speed record do tell.. Well hello there, let's get the noob status gone here. My first vehicle was a 94 XJ. I will post that up some other time. Today I have myself an old one. I am sure some of you know about this one.
