so my mj started out 4cyl 2x 4 speed. I made it 4x4 5speed, swapped the rear for a locked 4.10 8.8, and a matched 30 front. then put the 4.0 ho and an ax15 and a 231 a few years ago. now the head is either cracked or just blew the gasket, and the harnesses that i got from the donor XJ were not that great. someone had kind of hacked them up. I pulled the harnesses and the engine last night and am going to pull the 96 XJ i just picked up apart today so...... if someone has been down this road before and knows of some issues i might run into please let me know.
I know the pilot bearing is different in the later years.
I know the fuel system has changed a bit. I'm going to build a line i've got the russel adapters to go to jic, but will the pump from the 96 XJ go into the MJ thanks for any help
