I'm also considering the Bushwacker cut out flares. Part of the reason is I thought you needed to remove metal around the entire wheel well. From looking at the directions, nothing gets cut out of the top. I was hoping to remove the small amount of rot from that area and save the expense of having metal work done by just adding the new flares. Can you cut any extra metal out and still have them fit? Tim

Nice truck! :bowdown: I was actually thinking about putting a short box on a long bed frame. Thanks for the pic with the bed removed. Looks like more work than I want to get into. I want a driver and I was worried about keeping it all straight. The hunt continues. :chillin:

Any one ever cut a long bed truck down to make it a short bed? I have fabrication skills and have been a certified welder for 25 years. Just wondering if any one has done it. Tim
