New here and just getting the lay of the land with all the topics and forum at this site.. I recently pulled my Comanche apart (( I mean "'apart"" )) and working the dash and instrumentation (( because it was evident the previous owner had ""modified it"" )) I discoverd a kind to the speedometer cable just behind the speedometer head connection.. I gingerly reworked the kink as straight as I could make it and the flutter to the speedometer needle I had seen when I drove the Jeep home the first day I bought it, smoothed out..!
I like the easy ones.
Not saying there may be need for some lubrication, but for all the work I have done on vehicles, I have not often seen that be the case. then,, I've not been much around jeeps until now..
