Just found this video, no diagram on it either (20 seconds in to the video).

Not sure, but I've seen other pics from the same year that look the same. I've also heard that the 87s weren't supposed to have a 8 slot grill, but yet I've seen some with 8 slots. Well, I picked it up today. Here are some pictures. Let me know if anyone wants a specific picture of anything. I don't imagine there are many around in this condition anymore.

For starters, I plan to get it all up to date with new fluids, tires, brakes, remove the stickers, fix the saggy headliner, etc.. I likely won't run it very much, it'll be an extra vehicle. I would like to keep it as close to stock as possible, but I'm not really a fan of those wheels that are on it.

I only took a couple pictures, but it is definitely clean. It needs some things here and there, but nothing too major that I could tell. The miles are accurate. I'll be bringing it home early next week.

Here is the VIN 1JTHW66P3HT016971 According to the title, the current owner bought it in 2004 with 10,009 miles on it.

Good info, thanks. It definitely has some old guy add-ons. The owner is local to me and is a known collector, so I'm 99% sure the mileage is accurate. I think the tires may even be original. I hear you on the rubber parts. I'll check out those other things when I go look at it.

Hi all. I have the opportunity to purchase a 1987 Comanche Pioneer edition. 2wd. It's really clean and has around 18k (yes, 18,000) original miles on it. It hasn't been inspected or on the road since 2007 and has been garage kept. It has the 4cyl motor. Is there anything specific that I should look for when I go to look at it? I'll attach a couple pictures. One question I have - are the stripes down the side original? What would be a fair price to expect to pay for this? They were asking 10k obo.
