I need stock leaf springs that are in good condition and not super soft or flexible or rusted. I would like some heavy duty ones but ill take what i can get even the regulars. Anyone have a lifted comanche that they replaced the stock springs with new springs and want to sell me them? I know shipping won't be cheap but its ok with me. So I just got my 6 inch lift put on my 1990 Jeep comanche and got the alignment done and tires balanced, my last step is too put my 33's on. But now I can't drive over 55 without hitting a bump and the whole front end starts shaking violently. Everything on the front end is brand new the track bar the center link the tie rod the ball joints and the steering stabilizer.and it still shakes any ideas?

I have a 1990 Jeep Comanche AMC 4.0 ax-15 longbed 4x4 nontilt steering wheel. I'm looking for a gauge cluster with real working gauges and maybe but not required around 135,000 miles but no biggie if not but I have the dummy gauge cluster and want to replace it so I have rpms and oil and temperature and battery. Anyone have one for sale or know what year I can pull one out off Cherokee wise since I have no Comanches being parted out in my area? I thought it was up to 96 but I could be mistaken. :wrench:

Its true my renix engine has never let me down to date I've had radiator problems but easily fixed its a good engine but the peugot tranny is a pain in the rear I'm on my third one in two years lol sorry for knocking the engine when I meant mostly the tranny. I didnt know the renix was used till 90 I thought it stopped in 89 thanks for the info :wrench:

Its funny still in my personal belief that this guy uses the standard internet stock specs for a sales pitch when the 87 isn't that great anyways. Don't get me wrong the comanche is a great truck I have and 87 but personally the renix engine and peugot ba/10/5 tranny aren't that great. I wish and am searching for a 1990-1992 jeep with the jeep 4.0 and ax-15 tranny. Short bed for me :brows:

so i wanna buy another mj. the one I'm looking at getting is a 89, 2 wheel drive, manual trans with the 4.0 . how hard is it to put in a tranfer case to make it four wheel drive? is it the same tranny? the ax-15?

I offroad often and a shortbed works better for offroading

I have a 87 shorbed and I might be getting a 90 longbed can I swap the longbed out for a shortbed? Or is the frame different sizes? Or was it just the bed is different lengths and the frame is the same length?

so I'm looking for some parts for my 1987 shortbed 4.0, 4x4, 5 speed mj and i can't seem to find any in utah so I'm seeing if anyone here has or knows of any parts available. :wrench: 1. Bucket seat brackets. (so i can get rid of my bench) 2. Shifter boot not ripped with transmission and four wheel drive sections thats all for now if i think of more i will post them thanks guys
