  1. Might want to do a Posi-Lok instead of a CAD by pass, before I pay retail seeing if anyone has one for sale I could possibly get. Let me know, I'd appreciate it. Please email directly to: jgruen78@yahoo.com
  2. Please let me know what you got, need before winter hits - thanks

  5. Hey Everybody, I'm new to the forum and my current state...well moved here end of last year after living in FL for 30+ years. I recently came into MJ ownership as well. Have only seen maybe one other MJ in the area so I'm seeing if there is any other MJs in the "Coulee Region" and/or if anybody knows of any decent wheeling trails in the area I can try out. Thanks!
  6. I am in need of a factory (or anything that fits) cheap stereo head unit for my 86 MJ. I also need a replacement front driver's bucket seat, with every part of the assembly as my base is completely broken. Willing to pay shipping and/or meet up if not a tremendous distance to travel. Thanks Can email me directly as well, since I don't always get to check the forums jgruen78@yahoo.com
  7. Anyone else have this issue? Last owner told me it cannot be re-bolted or bracketed that the mount is completely cracked/broken at the base. Was thinking I could just hardcore drill it into the floor board but then I'm not sure what that would do for ride quality and over all integrity of my cab and seat. I still drive it the way it is, its just a little unbalanced and not great for long rides especially with my lift. I haven't taken a real close look at the problem yet, just wanted to know if this was a common issue for front MJ bucket seats and what my options might be...maybe get a parted out driver's seat from an XJ? All suggestions are greatly appreciated! :help:
  8. Nice truck, I am the recent new owner of an 86' 4x4 MJ myself. I am also new the the "winter snow land"...i moved to Wisconsin last November 2 days before the 4th biggest blizzard this area has ever seen. And after many close calls in my lil VW hatchback I said I need to find a great 4x4 before next winter. So here I am, you can see the pic of it I believe on my profile pic. Bought mine with a 3" lift and 31s on 10.5 mags. Got some minor CAD issues on the 4wd but besides that I love it - won't be my daily, well come winter it will be.
  9. I've decided not to do a posi-lock to by pass the factory CAD system to get my 4wd to work and just to slide the collar over to permanently engage the front axle shaft. However I haven't been underneath there yet, just want to know exactly what to do once I get under there and what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated, I've been told its not too technical and really only need a jack, wrench, and some time.
