I have a 1989 6 cyl, how do you know, or how can you check to see if your oxygen sensor is working correctly?

I need to replace my fuel injectors, RockAuto has the best price I can find at $36 each, anyone know of a better place? Thank you.

OK I have gone to two different shops, they both say they cannot align my tires. Both shops say I have to get adjustable ball joints. According to the techs my frame is fine and my axle is straight however the frame is "sagging" to the point where they cannot put it into specs. Are they giving me BS or should I just pay the extra and get the adjustable? If so I was going to get them at RockAuto, unless someone else has a better supplier. Thank you.

Thank you for the information, I looked at Rock Auto and US Auto Parts, anyplace else you look for ball joints. Thank you.

I have a 1989 comanche, 2wd with a 4.0L. I just replaced all of my tie rods and was told that they cannot give me an alignment until I get new ball joints, (my current ball joints are original and he said over time they have sagged, I can believe that) the mechanic strongly suggested if I replace the upper to go ahead and replace the lower, also he said I need to get adjusted NOT FIXED ball joints. Does this sound correct? because adjusted are a lot more expensive. Thanks.

Is the reverse light switch to the computer wiring harness on the BA 10/5 Peugot trans the same as one for a different Jeep transmission? My whole wiring harness for my 10/5 transmission is gone ( I do not know where) and I would like to know where to get one new or if I can get one off a different transmission from a junkyard. I have a 1989 six cylinder Comanche, basic model. Thanks.

Can you tell me where in the Wide World of Sports does it connect to?
-
OK sorry for the screw up. So you think the transmission is shot and don't bother fixing it? Get a new one?
-
I have a 1989 4.0L standard Comanche.

I need to know a couple things. There's a 4-pin connector that comes out of the wiring harness directly behind the cylinder head cover, connector C111 on the diagram of the 1989 4.0L, and I need to know where the get a new connector (it melted against the engine) and I do not know where the heck it connects to. I'm positive one wire is for the up shift indicator (it's pink with a black strip) and I have the BA 10/5 transmission. I also need to know where to get a gear synchronizer for it, I was told mine is toast. Thank you.

How do you check the EGR valve?
-
The truck is still running real bad. I have replaced: Fuel pump Gas tank Fuel filter MAP sensor Throttle position sensor Idle speed motor Knock sensor Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor Bypassed ballast resistor (it is bad, need another one). I have checked the vacuum system, do not see any leaks, if I bypass the MAP sensor it will run a little better, which is not saying much. If I reconnect it, it will hardly run. I put a new MAP sensor in and it did not make a difference. I am running out of ideas. Thanks.

Can you test or check the ECU?
-
Does your ECU totally break down or can part of it work, how can you check it. Thanks.
-
If I cannot find any I guess I will have to go that route, obviously they did not snap when you bent them?

I'm looking for a pair of J-bolts for my gas tank strap, it's on a 1989 4.0L. Called the Pick and Pull and salvage yards, nothing.
