Found a fuel leak in my 88 yesterday. So, on the rear of the fuel pump there is a rubber hose. Closest to the pump is a conventional hose clamp. At the end of the hose closest to rear of truck is a weird clamp. Doesn’t fit a screwdriver ( no slot) thinking it may need Allen wrench. Before I dig in further can anyone advise what type of clamp this is or is it just something put on at some point in life of truck. Leak is coming from this end of hose, thanks. Ok after further review apparently this isn’t the pump, the pump is in tank correct? I will take pic and show what I have. This is what is under truck, aftermarket pump? and the clamp

Hey everyone, just bought an 88 Comanche, on the dash, right side of steering wheel there is a button marked transmission power/comfort. Not familiar with this, can anyone enlighten me?

Would a later model radiator from Xj work? Thanks all for reply. Only lights in back that work is left blinker. Actually haven’t checked brake lights yet. Like I said when I try right blinker both lights blink

Just brought home first Comanche, 87 pioneer, seven foot bed, auto, bucket seats. Couple questions, I do not see a fill neck on the radiator, doesn’t seem to have conventional radiator with fill neck on top. It does have plastic reservoir, passenger side of truck. What is the deal with this set up? Also, when I turn on right blinker both blinkers come on, no tail lights. Left blinker works fine. Sorry for the rookie questions, just starting to learn this thing. Also, the rear bed light now seems to stay on. More questions to come, please be patient. Thank you in advance for your time

Hi hoping to get more posts on this. Getting ready to buy an 87, truck is currently stuck in 4 wheel low, anyone else with this problem? The shifter is stuck in 4wheel low. Also truck is only five minutes from hone, worse case scenario if I drive it slow should it be ok?

From what I can tell there isn’t a whole lot of rust but it up against some trees, kinda hard to look real good. So, not too expensive a repair?

Neighbor has an 88 commanche he s asking 500 for, wanted to ask couple questions before I purchase. The transfer case shift lever is stuck in 4l, what could cause the? Expensive? Easy or hard to fix? Thanks.
