    I use Royal Purple in mine. But it's also a 94 Dodge Dakota Sport. V8/ 5 spd.

    Mine has Royal Purple synchromax in it smells horrible runs like 5w-30 my books don't say anything about using 75- 80 regular gear lube it's too heavy.
