  1. Hey thanks for helping out before..it ended up being wiring to the MAP sensor. I am having a different problem now. The Jeep was running fine and all the sudden died while driving down the road. Will turn over but not getting any fuel out of the tank. I had just replaced the fuel pump but maybe its went bad already. Thanks for any insight.
  2. All, Thanks for your help on the previous issue. I ended up taking it to the shop and it was a wiring issue with the MAP sensor. Truck has been running great until this morning....it was running fine then died. It will crank over but won't hit a lick. Any suggestions? I'm at work now and didn't have time to trouble shoot the basics.
  3. Ahhhh!! I appreciate all the help! Try replacing that?
  4. See these photos. I believe it is in fact the TPS not plugged in. In the first picture it is the sensor resting against the throttle that isn't plugged in. Photo of Jeep because we need to get it on the road.
  5. Oddly enough the TPS has never been plugged in to my Knowledge. The connector is melted and I think it was set manually to where the throttle is resting against the throttle. It had always ran fine so I never messed with it
  6. What do you mean what am I getting out of the CPS? Sorry I'm not the most mechanically inclined person but I am learning. I can keep it running if i continuously apply the throttle but it runs very rough. It will come close to stalling then I can get it to rev but will die if i do not keep in the throttle.
  7. I am getting fuel all the way to the TB, but nothing spraying in.
  8. From what I think I have read, the 2.5 doesn't have the resistor.
  9. Having the same issue with my 86 Comanche. It will start and then die after two seconds. Replaced the CPS, fuel pump, Map, relay. Did the new ECU fix your issue?
