  1. Notched the corners behind the cab to accept the gunwales.
  2. JEEP CJ10A NAVY AIRPORT TUG
  3. Welded trackbar together. It took 2 flat washers spacing one weld joint to center the steering. This may be the thickness lost when the bar was cut.
  4. The Cherokee rear differential hump is centered as opposed to a front axle that is 6 inches offset. So the curve in a stock trackbar is in the wrong place. One advantage is being able to set its length to center the axle.
  5. Installed offset perches for the 4" OD springs.
  6. Better photo showing saddle bags, auto-retracting vinyl top, deer catcher bumper and mud flaps.
  7. Buffalo bus GM Buffalo bus was the slang term for several models of intercity motorcoaches built by the GM Truck and Coach Division at Pontiac, Michigan, between 1966 and 1980. Engine: GM 8V-71 Detroit Diesel Transmission: Spicer 4-speed manual; Allison 3-speed automatic This one is a '73, no plans to travel with it. The other truck is a 72
  8. The main mod to this beast was to relocate the tiny bathroom's partition for a bathtub shower. Also added the upper storage covers and the gutters which allow windows to be left open.
  9. Another fantasy photoshop...
  10. Finished welding the perches and control arm brackets from the 2x4 Cherokee front axle to the donor rear axle.
  11. I'll see that Triumph and raise a Ford
  12. This is made from an old Sears garden tractor attachment and can be raised up and down as needed. The optional extra bar keeps it from moving sideways. The battery is just ballast to increase the digging action.
  13. Forgot to mention that my significant other finished the rock work and did the mortar.
  14. Used an inclination gauge to locate front axle control arm brackets before welding. One bracket had to be modified to clear the edge of the Dana 35 housing from the rear of a Cherokee.
