1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer.
Originally 4.0/AW4/231/D30/D44/SWB.
Now 4.0/AW4/242/XJD30HP/D44/SWB.
Build Date: I didn't get it before I ripped the doors off and 97+ swapped them.
Current Location: Colorado, which was it's original purchase location before being sold and moved to Utah, then sold and moved to North Dakota where I bought it, restored it and moved it back to Colorado again.
Status: Wheeling machine. About 85% restored with 214k on the dash.
Notes: This truck is a high altitude MJ eith the advanced CPS. The truck came with a D44 rear 3.54 gears, with the trac-lok which I thought was pretty cool. It also had a factory hitch and a fuel tank skid plate. I was able to get a front skid plate from another MJ I had so I swapped that on as well. It was originally tan interior with the tan bench, but I swapped in tan buckets from my 92 2 door parts XJ as well as a 97+ tan center console. It's a column shift and I love it.
