The guy bought the Comanche I want, and reposted it for $1200 more 3 days later. Guy did nothing to it, just drove it home, took more pics and then posted it on fb marketplace.

Someone else got it I'll keep lookin, but for now thanks for the advice

update, guy says there is surface rust on the bed and the floorboard needs fixing in a spot but he already has a pan.

It comes with a camper shell... unknown condition as of so far

Hey I just found this website while looking for information about commaches because I was thinking of buying one. This seems like an amazing community and the amount of information on this website is insane. I'm thinking of buying a 1987 commanche with a "new 94 HO motor" someone please educate me on what type of motor that is (He says it's a 4.0L). Guy says it has a BA10 in it right now but also has a AX15 and everything for the swap. Other things to mention: it's a manual 4x4, has procomp rims and tires (33x12.5x15), it also has new speakers and sub, new carpet and rino lined floor board. Guys asking $3,000 for it, am I getting a good deal? I'll update as I learn more. Attached some pics of it as well
