  2. not much has changed, new job-lots of overtime now slowing down... only replaced the front spring bushings on the rear since i had to cut the bolts.. maybe this weekend---going to look at some 33's for it..

  5. onto the next part of the build...bush recovery...get ya back to the road and call a real tow truck. Image Not Found Image Not Found ready to plate the frame.. note: timbren load boosters- from the front of a hwy plow truck- should work well for bumpstops as well...   6. post up some pic's and welcome to the mj madness.. brake light- grounded through the e-brake pedal or the proportioning valve below the master cylinder or wire is pinched and grounded to the body.. mine was a faulty switch on the e-pedal..just had to play with the contacts dash gauges- swapped from a cherokee lights- maybe the light switch- burnt contacts inside the switch.. leaf spring- NO WELDING....REPLACE THE LEAF OR THE WHOLE PACK.. cheap-do the broken leaf- may want to do both sides to keep it level. plan to keep it for a long time- replace the packs/u-bolts and mounting bolts.. and check the swing shackle mounts in the frame.. ecm- mounts beside the steering column on the right side.. bit of a pain getting the top bolt.. window.. mine are the same- replacement or like i did put a small hose clamp to stop the window rolling down into the stripped part of the track-window only sticks above the door 3/4 inch commercial tire-- load rating??? bfg or goodyear good luck..

  8. thanks. few more updates.. added leafs front and rear...modded front shock mount for now.. if i'm right stock front, from center hub to fender flare- stock is 17-18 inches.. now i got 27 1/2--9.5 to 10.5 inch lift on the cheap... Image Not Found Image Not Found

  14. axle in....still some bracing to do and finish welding... but she is sitting on the springs.... wheelbase is 113 3/4 both side.... oh and it may have the rear springs mounted to the front axle only 4 leafs the rear has 6?????? don't the front have more to support the engine/tranny???????   23. been a long winter, now for some updates....leaf sprung front axle and 410 gears.....:) gotta love when guys put new parts on before checking other stuff....new leafs/shocks and some steering parts....body is shot........250 get it outta here.....lol and my beast in the back....   24. been awhile, got the bumper done.. wheeled it with some buddies, nothing broke, but they did..... next plan a bush recovery boom in the box... 1 plate frame 2 replace the 30/35 combo--- ford 44/60 3 boom in the box..
