  1. I completed the same mod and have experienced similar results. I used an AEM inline controller (P/N 30-0310) and used the existing 02 heater and ground circuits on the harness to power the controller and ground the sensor, respectively. Reduced overall wiring and seemed neater. The controller cycles power when a WOT condition triggers the heater relay, but I’ve found it to reliably start swinging again before the ECU reverts to closed loop.
  2. Thank you, gentlemen!
  3. Dry. #6 pumped right up to 145.
  4. I inherited an incomplete build with my new Comanche and jumped the starter to perform a compression test to assess the health of the motor before investing additional time and money. Please help me to evaluate the test results below and thanks in advance. Compression test results - Cylinders 1 & 2 gradually pumped up to 90/95 after ~20 strokes - Cylinders 3 - 5 jumped right up to 145/150 - Returned to Cylinders 1 & 2 when they jumped right up to 120/125 What else you need to know - Motor donated from 1994 ZJ with a reported 130k miles - Motor has not ran in at least several months - Intake and exhaust manifolds are removed and the respective ports were open to atmosphere during the test - Engine oil is toward the low end of the safe operating range and there is no evidence of coolant in the crankcase
  5. Thanks for the feedback. I may very well have a new project on my hands! The immediate hospitality of this group is encouraging. Thanks again.
  6. Considering purchasing a 1990 2WD Eliminator. Seller has substantially completed swapping in a motor from a 1994 Grand Cherokee. Please let me know if there are any insurmountable comparability issues that should inform the potential purchase. Thanks in advance.
