  1. Here is the black connector on the Cherokee dash harness
  2. Pin 11 has 2 wires going to it already. Does that matter?
  3. Is the malfunction switch the brake switch?
  4. 91 Comanche, 92 Cherokee. Connector at kick panel that sends power to fuel pump and powers up all light in rear.
  5. Has anyone ever swapped a Cherokee dash and installed it into a Comanche chassis? I am having issues with the dash harness and not having enough pins. My brake lights originally didn’t work. Installed new light bulbs then checked the switch.using my test light I found that Cherokee side I have brake lights. Comanche side is pinned different and not sure if anyone else ran into this issue?
  6. It will only start in park or neutral. Which is normal. But it Will not move when you put it in reverse, drive or even 1-3.
  7. Where is the location of computer control box and neutral safety switch? I know I removed whole dash from Cherokee and put it all in the Comanche.
  8. I swapped pretty much everything from the Cherokee engine bay to the Comanche. There was nothing left besides the back half and shell of Jeep
  9. Before I removed engine and trans, i drive Cherokee around the yard just fine
  10. I never actually unbolted the trans from the engine. I pulled engine and trans out. Yes it is 4wd and I’m pretty sure it was going into 2wd. Lever felt way to easy when doing so though. Will have to double check and see if it is actually goin into 2wd
  11. So I have a question for you guys, I recently did a swap of my 2.5l to the 4.0. I kept the automatic in it. I cannot get the truck to go into gear and actually move. I replaced trans cooler lines. I made sure trans was full of fluid. Ran truck and checked fluid. Fluid level is fine. Checked shift linkage like I was reading and found nothing. I got to thinking, maybe there is air in the system that needs bled out. Anyone ever run into this issue? It don’t really stay in park very well either
  12. I need all of them from fuel tank to connectors on rail. Suck side and return side it is a 1990 Jeep Comanche with the 4.0 liter
  13. What fuel line do you guys recommend to use for a 4.0 liter?
  14. Bad part is I need the whole assembly. My fuel tank was all rusted and nasty because it sat for years and my sending unit is garbage as well. There was no saving it
  15. Where did you get your carter pump from
  16. Alright Jeep guys, have you guys ever bought a Fuel Tank for your Comanche? If so, have you ever replaced the fuel pump? I have a 1990 Jeep Comanche with 4.0 I’m replacing the fuel tank and fuel pump but cannot find the correct fuel pump. Ordered from rock auto and advanced auto but I keep getting a Cherokee fuel pump any ideas?
  17. okay this is very helpful information! I just wanted to look into before I started the swap. Thank you!
  18. I currently have a 1990 jeep Comanche short bed with a 4cylinder and It is a 4 speed. I have a donor Cherokee I believe its either a 1989 or 1990 that has the 6 cylinder with an automatic. I got both of these on Trade. The body on the Cherokee is rusted out and the floors are falling through. the Comanche on the other hand is in great condition other than maintenance items. I am wanting to swap the 4 cylinder to a 6 cylinder on the Comanche and I just wanted to see if anyone has ever done this and if so, what is needed. I mean obviously I'm going to need a flywheel, new clutch and a 5 speed transmission. just want to see if this swap will be worth it in the long run
