    Snow pics.

I'm originally from PA so snow is nothing new to me but ive lived in Virginia Beach for ten years and this is nuts for us haha, but this was me playing in the culdesac for a bit
  2. turns out my distributer cap is missing an o ring not sure if it was supposed to come with one or not or even if i lost it and didnt notice when i put it in but regardless i made my own with some RTV be so ill see if that does the trick if not ill have to try your clear plastic trick.
  3. my jeep is an 89 118k original miles straight six 4.0 and refuses to start in the rain or rainy weather. everything is working normal cranks normal, the works its has got to be something electrical i would assume.... the alternator, battery, battery cables, distributer cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires are all new. its timing is on point and it runs amazing when its nice outside. it has come down to either the ignition coil or relay needs replaced, at least thats our next guess. would love some help or advice just rained for 3 days so no comanche just stopped today and she runs fine got two more days till it rains again would like to have it fixed asap haha. thanks in advance for any replys.
  4. haha i knew what i was getting into, i ship out to boot in a few months so ill have plenty of extra cash to spend on this baby. but i did manage to fix the problem was just some loose bolts on the flex plate luckily i could reach them from below and didnt have to drop out the tranny or anything.
  5. thanks for the feed back guys ill be sure to check that once this thunderstorm passes. ill post an update.
  6. i have a 1989 comanche (i'll upload better pics some other time) it only has 117xxxk original miles on it and runs great i just recently picked it up a few months ago. I started it up the other day and it now makes a VERY loud knocking sound that sounds like its coming from the tranny, its only really noticeable when its idling. when I'm actually driving its sounds perfectly fine. another small symptom is it sometimes stutters very slightly when I'm accelerating. being that I'm 20 with very little vehicular knowledge I'm not quit up to the task of handling this, but a neighbor said it sounds like my torque converter may be loose. i was essentially just trying to get a "this is whats wrong" from someone who knows so any feed back would be nice.
