Update: new ignition switch, same thing. But d1-5 is hot d1-2 has nothing.... I may or my not have been on d1-5 instead of d1-2 when I gave the last reading of 12v. But it stays hot, key off or on.

Lucky for me they have one in stock at the parts store. I'll be back later to keep everyone updated.

Getting 12v when jumped.

Ok so I removed the correct switch this time, I'm on b3 with 12v. Whats the next step...i got my ignition switch off with ease when I removed the lower dash, the only thing that doesnt look correct to me is g1 peg, it looks really dark/burnt, but all wires and plastic look fine.

Looks like we have chased our tail all day then Ohm. It must on top where I can't see it. I'll wire everything up tomorrow then start again on the volt meter.

Really? So does anyone have a picture of an ignition switch...or the location of the ign switch..so i won't be trying to start the jeep through the high beam...

If thats a high beam switch then I'll be highly irritated lol. But the plug i took out of it looks just like the c268.

Its auto. 2.5l. I gave @ohm my number and he called me. We ohm'd from b3 to the starter relay, everything checked according to him. We went as far as using a jumper with an inline fuse, from the fuse box-b3 and still nothing. At the end of the day, he was stumped, and so am I. And also C267 is not a plug in my jeep.

Is there a NSS on these comanches? Would this have anything to do with no ignition power?

Ok so ive checked ohms, voltage checked all fusable links, everything but the b3 terminal is getting the correct amount of voltage. Its getting .6v with my meter. I'm lost. I have swapped all relays that are swappable and no change.

So D1-5 is hot. The the others are nothing. Also checked fusable link, ive never mesed with these before so i just stuck my volt meter + tip into the rubber, i got 12v.

What connector is that?

It died out as I was driving, would the either of these cause it to be dead in the water, no radio power or anything? Or cause it to spit and sputter randomly? I just replaced it with a new one when I purchased it. I swapped out relays and no change, haven't checked cps yet, what should the proper voltage be?

So i took apart my idle control actuator and found stripped gears, so i went and bought one at my local parts store, used some online discounts and got it for about 45$ fixed my issue. I also ran some of the vacuum lines to a t and it seemed to help a lot, so thanks everyone for the help!

Ive been tinkering on this guy for a bit, you all helped me find the no idle issue and I really appreciate it, so thank you. But...now i have new issues. I was driving it today on the longest trip since purchased, and the trip was mostly down the road and back. Its now, after getting towed, in my yard without any electrical functions... Turn the key and nothing, but i have power to my fuse panel under the dash. I have a new battery, terminals are fine. I turn the key on and the radio doesnt even get power. It also started a horrible miss right before it completely shut off. Ive checked voltage on ignition with key on and it has 12v along with battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any pictures of how you deleted and ran your vac lines? I'm gonna order an actuator tonight, mine isnt doing anything at all. But you can hear it sucking air from atleast one of the t-ports on the intake manifold.

Hello everyone, I need some help! I purchased an 87 comanche about 2 weeks ago fir 500$ it first had a blown freeze plug, then radiator, and I just finished a head gasket job. It will start and run, but it runs like crap. I'm missing almost all of the vacuum lines for the egr stuff. I don't really wanna hunt down all of the parts or put a lot of money into it right now... So here's whats going on... It will start, but won't idle for long, it starts to die out after a few seconds of idle unless i give it throttle then it sounds great, but as soon as i let off the throttle it starts to out again. Can anybody tell/show me what i need to plug and not plug to keep it running? I'm not sure if this photo helps, i can take more if needed.
