2.5 renix no electric

After removing my washer fluid jug, I moved this mess down here, with key on, and the fuel pump fires up and dash lights come on, but no power to starter. I cut and tied together the fuse link that was thought to be burt before hand and no change. But i do plan on fixing it the right way with your alls help. With the key on, i can grab this harness and wiggle it around and the fuel pump will come on and shut off depending on the way I move it around. So I'm guessing my problem has been here all along. Can someone tell me how to take it apart and what to check? I tried to remove the clip but i feel like I'll break it if I keep pulling at it. *Ive also re connected the original wire that i cut when i jumped to 12v* -

What would the correct rated fuse be? That should be a fuse link, previous owner did that. I noticed that when i bought it but had no idea what is was until all of this mess. I planned to fix it once i knew how. -

Ok, I'll look more into tomorrow. If it is fried, what's the next step? Replacing wire? -

I cut the covers off the links. Took a pic for y'all to see. They all look good to me, granted idk what a good or bad fuse link looks like, but theres not any corrosion or anything loose or burnt.. -

Yea I know, I have an inline fuse 20a. but if I did have a solid 12v at the Red wire, and that was the only issue, it should start correct? -

So I cut the red wire and jumped it to 12v constant. Turn key and dash lights come now but no starter power. -

Where might I find this short to ground. I almost sold this thing yesterday because I'm so irritated with it 😆 -

Yea my lead isnt long enough to go from red to the fuse links. I ohmd the wire that I'm using, its good. But I wiggled some wires around and the resistance changed. Red to ground and green to ground show no resistance. -

This is what I'm working with. This is the only terminal that gives me a reading. So I'm assuming this is the culprit. I'm not good at electric diagnosing. -

I removed the switch and done this without it mounted, not sure if it effects anything or not. But with key off, I'm getting 12v at red nothing else...with key on I'm not getting anything at red or any other wires. *When i say with key on/off, I'm moving the piece in the switch myself* -

Yes, I sat my volt meter up on hood and turned key to see if there was a change in the voltage. The guy i watched online, his meter would hold the max voltage shown until cleared so i had to watch mine. -

I don't have a picture, but on the starter relay its the middle and bottom left. I can go to the video and find them but I'm at work rn so can't get a pic. But its an 87 sport truck base model. Swb. 4x4. Honestly I'm not sure what you mean when you say back probe. And what wires should i do that with. -

Update: still no progress. I went back to the start of the post and triple checked everything suggested, still not getting any power to the ignition. I was online watching a few videos of a guy who went through and ohm'd his starter relay and checked for voltage, I wasn't getting the same reading he was. The 2 green wires going to it that have the plastic clips, have zero voltage. I'm also having a hard time finding info about this renix system for these 2.5 4cyls automatics. Everything I'm finding is for the 4.0. Another thing I rechecked was the fuse panel inside the cab, everything my key should be turning on, radio, etc has no power. Anymore ideas on what to check? Ive seen some people say its the nss and a few others say its not. Does anybody know a way to jump it over so i can atleast check to see if it's an issue? -

My jeep doesn't have the interior lights in it. That way when i bought it. But I do have head and tail lights, I can check dome lights for voltage when I get off work. Update: Dome lights have power inside the cab. -

The key literally does nothing at all. No fuel pump, no radio power, not a single thing works, no cranking of any kind, like its supposed to when you turn the key. It was driving, then everything just shut down. Its as if you went to start a car without a battery. -

Yes, C267 and c268 were connected. C103_E (yellow wire) has 0v with key on. -

Nothing when jumped/key on or off. Is this the c2 wire? If so i have key on, and nothing going to it or coming from the wire. -

Ok re verified, d1-5 was hot. Nothing at d1-2. Anybody have any idea? Relays, or anything like that come into play on this?
