Has anyone else had an issue with the harmonic balancer not being long enough and cutting into the timing chain cover? Model year 1987.

I have 286K on my 87 Comanche and to my knowledge everything except what I have replaced/repaired is original. Could I be lucky enough to except another 200k miles?

I have an 87 Comanche automatic. It’s not a 4x4, but it was given to me as a gift. I had an issue with a transmission line that came disconnected, and was wondering if this is something that happens often.
