Well it's a 1987 with 95,000 miles.
The story is it's a one family owned vehicle.
The kids bought it for their mother new in '87.
The son got the truck in 2013. with 84k miles.
Pictures are a bit deceiving, it has rust on cab corner and rockers though the frame seems solid.
Drivers floor was repaired with so so quality.
No AC so I'm going to want to add that in the future.
My plan is to keep it reasonably stock maybe with a few updates from later models if it makes sense.
Reliable daily driver is what my goal is.
I think I paid a bit too much at $5,200 but it was local so I didn't have to factor in transport.
My Tacoma was losing $1000-$2000 per year in depreciation.
The way I look at it if I invest that much per year in restoration I'm ahead of the game.
Looking forward to the advice and camaraderie here on the forum.
I'm more of a lurker and ask a few questions since there are so many more knowledgeable members.
Thanks for the warm welcomes.
