Well, I had an check up appointment with my surgeon today (had a softball sized brain tumor removed + radiation. Finished up about a month ago.) and stopped at Wal Mart on the way home to pick up a few odds and ends. I parked in the lot and spied a red Sportruck just down the row from me. I wandered over to it and stuck a Comanche Club business card in the drivers side window sweep (fuzzy stip). Came out to find the owner had already left. Didn't see the card on the ground so thats good! Matt

Matt You can get replacement boots on the HELP! rack at Auto Zone or Advance Auto. If the TRE itself doesn't feel sloppy, just buy a new rubber seal. Cool, I may be able to just do that. The joint doesn't feel worn out, so I guess I could get away with just buying the boot. Thanks! Matt

I'm thinking I may need to replace the chassis end rod end as the rubber boot is toast. Where could I find a replacement? Matt

How big of a torch would I need to get it to budge? Matt

Well, I got the track bar disconnected on the axle side, got the jam nut backed off, sprayed liberally with PB Blaster last night, let it sit overnight, and I still can't get the Track bar to spin. I am using a pipe wrench and I still can't get it to move! Any suggestions? :dunno: Matt

Got the truck back on the ground, turned the wheels, got the axle about where it needs to be, just need to adjust the track bar now. Matt

Once I get the bar to the length I need, how can I get the axle moved over? I tried getting between the truck and a wall and tried pushing it over with my legs, but it didn't budge. I've got the front end off the ground, but it still didn't move. Any ideas? :dunno: Matt

I was driving southbound on Illinois I39/51 and I saw a blue, lifted Comanche heading northbound on 39/51 just north of Mendota. Who did I see? Show yourself! :wavey: Matt

I was expecting to find a standard cotter pin, but instead I found what looked to be a safety pin looking pin. Matt

Just curious, the pin that I found over the nut on the chassis bracket looks almost like a safety pin. Is this what Jeep used from the factory? Just curious as I've never encountered this type of pin before. Matt

Now I have to put the nut and that funky pin back in on the frame side. :doh: Matt

I saw Summit has a set with 3 different size forks for a good price. May just buy that so I have it around. Matt
