go to the jeep dealer they are 12 bucks per lock and they will rekey it to your old keys if you have them or give you new keys. at least here in colorado thats what they do. I tried all the auto shops around here got 8 different lock cores and none of them worked.

Ya when you put it in 4 wheel drive the front carrier will spin but the spider gears will allow the disconnected shaft to spin and not the drivers tire. Like they said unless you have a locker type in the front there will be no movement from the front tires. torque goes toward the path of least resistance. in this case the shaft that doesnt have a tire attached to it would get everything and the drivers shaft would get none.
