  1. I want to replace my front sway bar bushings however I do not know how to determine the sway bar diameter in order to obtain the correct bushing size. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :help:
  2. I've actually done a spring swap on a ZJ so I don't think that will be a big issue. I have replacement springs and will replace both isolators as well. I'm sure the ride won't change much but I can't stand the 1/2 inch left side lean.
  3. It HAS to be the suspension...somewhere. Check those drop shackle angles on both sides. Are they the same. Measure from the center of the wheel to the flare instead of the ground. The surface is relative, distance from the wheel is more telling. I'd check for a missing or broken leaf...or maybe a missing or collapsed coil isolator. Then start looking at your "uni-frame". Look between the cab and bed for a bend or break in the frame rail. Look at your front leaf mounts too, bushings?? My 88 has a 1/2 lean on the driver's side as well. I am pretty sure it is the coil spring isolator because it looks pretty well compressed compared to the passenger side. How hard is the isolator to remove?
  4. Thanks for the replies. I have been using a tarp but that's a pain in the rear. I kind of figured I'd be making my own. I'll look into the boat cover at Wallyworld.
  5. Got an '88 MJ and would like to find a cover for just the cab or cab and hood. Either or, doesn't matter. Not really interested in covering the bed. Anyone know where I can find something suitable? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  6. Crap. Thank you! :(
  7. I have a pair of front coils from an '04 WJ. Will they fit on my '88 MJ? Thanks! :help:
  8. My passenger side window does the same thing on my 88 MJ once the window is rolled down all the way. First time it happened, I pulled the door panel off and lifted the window up a bit and it rolled up fine. Second time I tried something different. With the window down all the way I pushed hard with my palm dead center on the crank handle (not on the end but dead center on the center of the crank). You could feel it struggling to catch but it did! I only had to turn the handle with my palm a small amount (1/2 to 3/4 of a turn) before it actually caught and rolled up. Try this first before pulling the door panel.
