  2. Hey guys I need the mount for the ba 10/5. I am a little (actually) quiet up the god damn creek unless I can get this mount. Will pay for all expenses incurred.

  5. Hello and good morning all, just thought I'd poke my head in and say hello to everybody before I started asking questions and what not, but I would first like to point out how I got in the Comanche way of life. I am an armoured guy in the canadian military and offroading and using vehicles tactically is my life. But I have always been a fast car kind of guy never owned a rear wheel drive let alone a 4x4 in my entire life. I owe it to Jay aka Biggwheels for selling me his RWD comanche for 250 dollars. The vehicle was wrecker bound because it had more problems then financially practical to fix, and I agree with the idea if you can have it, let somebody else have the parts so they can carry on the fight. But then all of a sudden I wanted it, I fixed that bad boy up from nothing, and along the way there were some serious hick ups and one night I almost called it quits but Jay pushed me forwards and here I am now, doing my own 4x4 conversion on an old beat up truck with the heart of a lion. So publicly, thank you buddy. And for the rest of you guys, big thumbs up for all of your work and dedication, I have followed in yours and Jays tracks the whole way and now own my own damn 4x4 that the army cannot tell me where I can and can't go. I understand now why all those damn jeep owners and I quote Jay "have the right to wave"... Thank you guys for my right. Bell.
  6. Biggwheels see my post elsewhere.
  7. I measure yoke to yoke on the comanche with the 231 installed... came to about 40 inches, gonna try the new shaft today :D so excited, its the last piece of a Cherokee to Comanche Swap!!!
  8. Did I comprise the safety of my vehicle by cutting the floor? I'm not sure. But I do know the whole thing has to be replace anyways, its rotten as hell. But on the good side, I got new carpet and insulation from the side of the road :D some lady was doing a reno on her house, say hello to a semi-shag carpet!! LOL Pics will have to wait until monday, and I have no idea how long the shaft is on the ax15 setup.
  9. I am pulling out my hair here, comanche got me good. I bought it with the 2wd Ba 10/5 behind the I6 4L. Had some fun with it, but needed to get pulled out by my buddies Cherokee 9 times in one day. So I got a little mad. I went and bought a donor cherokee same year, same transmission and everything for 500 dollars. It was a steal considering I needed a new hood and doors and the works. Well here is my delimma, I chopped my transmission mount and need a new one, not the real issue, I can make one of those (but I would like the proper one, but just can't find one). My rear drive shaft!!! My new rear drive shaft length with SUA on a short box with a Ba10/5 and NP231. What is it supposed to be?? Oh another issue I have been having is that the transfer case keeps hitting the bottom of the cab floor while I raise it under the cross member, no worries there, I just cut the floor to match the T-Case and built a housing inside, to keep it water proofed. ISSUE: Can somebody with the same setup as mine please take a tape measure and measure their rear shaft length?? Ryan. P.s. I love you guys!!!
