  2. Thanks for the advice I can get my hands on a 1990 XJ power steering pump as a replacement my only concern is if the 90's pump will fit the 90's MJ Sorry, I meant the 90's pump on the 92's MJ Excuse the typo
  3. Hello to you all, Hope you're doing great The power steering pump on a '92 6 cylinder/manual MJ is leaking badly, think It needs replacement, Mopar's OEM goes for $250 at least... Question is can you recommend a decent replacement that won't cost me 300 bucks? Do you know if a 1990 XJ power steering pump will fit the 92 Comanche or are they not compatible Any advice is highly appreciated Regards
  4. I understand that the rear axle is different between MJ and XJ, the SUA vs SOA thing, so I am waiting to get one that fits directly, right now I'm just trying to get together all the pieces needed for the 4x4 swap, installation will come later
  5. OK, thank you. Great information, I appreciate
  6. Thanks, I appreciate. What about the front axle, I've heard that the newest Dana 30 have bigger u joints, any modifications needed to install the 1999 Cherokee front axle in the MJ? Thank you
  7. Hello to you all, hope you are doing great I am trying to convert the 1990 Pioneer short bed 4x2 to 4x4, currently it has the stock 4.0 6 cylinder and manual transmission and I got an offer for a Dana 30 front axle and NP231 from a 1999 Cherokee and an AX15 4x4 manual, my question is if those parts would fit the Comanche coming from a 1999 Cherokee. Later on I will upgrade the rear axle, please let me know your thoughts Best Regards

  10. Hello to you all, I just joined the forum as past week at last I got my first Comanche, it is a 1990 Pioneer 2WD, manual and short bed that is in pretty good condition, I looked for a 4WD for a long time without luck so I decided to get this one. Now here comes the opportunity to get a 1988 4x4 Pioneer long bed that is in not so good shape, lots of parts missing and the ones that are present are so bad that restoration would take a lot of money and time, so my question to you is could I get to strip the 4x4 parts from the 1988 long bed and swap them into the 1990 short bed, most of them at least? The nice 1990 is a manual and the bad 1988 is now manual but the owner is pretty sure it was an automatic before, by the way the 4x4 is not working right now, I think the front shaft is missing, both are 4.0l 6cyl. What do you think, can I get a sweet deal getting the 1988 for parts or should I keep looking? Any advice will be kindly appreciated...
