1988 Jeep Comanche 4.0L/5 speed/NP241/Dana 30 front and I think it’s a Dana 44 rear see pic/short bed Build date: it’s not readable Current Location: Calhan, Colorado Status: Project awaiting work Notes: Bucket seats, Possibly a Dana 44 rear axle? Current owner: I bought this as a project for myself, but my son who will turn 16 in 2 years wants it. So we are going to build it for him. I have a replacement bed for it and plan to put a VW TDI diesel and AX15 in it. Not sure what to do about the cab corner. Hoping a body shop can fix it.

This is my new project! Always been a fan of the MJ. By accident, I met Neohic after picking the MJ up. He works at a friend's shop, that I took the MJ by for him to see. It's an 88 Sportruck. 4.0, 5 speed, Dana 44 rear and some sort of a mild lift on it already So far the plan is short term. Get it running and drive it. I was just going to leave the stock 4.0 in it for now. I have access to a freshly rebuilt stroker for a good price, and Neohic and my friend both talked me into just pulling the stock engine and getting the stroker in it. More long term plans are fixing the body on the drivers side and paint. I'm still up in the air on the late model XJ conversion. I like the interior a lot more on the late models, so at a minimum I may do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
