Tanks in shes running better then ive ever seen now too. Got cold here again an she startez in 2 cranks. Idles better then ive ever remembered.

The tank wasnt rused through like i had thought the rubber ring was super crispy under the bench seat in mopar plastic was a new one. Whats that chances? Any ways scrubed the rust off the tank sprayed some shaker primer an enamel sprayed got get it back in but the fuel lines are fuel but one clearly says not for injection.

What about cleaning it good an putting a fuel tank liner goo in there?

Pump thats in the tank looks all hobeled togather with zip ties now that i have it out n filter was unattached in the tank looks like a new pump on there didnt fit so they got crafty an never made it right how do u post a pic on this thing.

Local salvave yard has a 92 20 gal cherokee tank. Can I asume there the same as my 88 mj 113 wheel base? they say it will fit an has only 100k on it 50 bucks with the pump. my straps an old roll over valves are out an in good shape still from the old tank.

C101 was like the inside of a water pipe took an hour cleaning it re did the grounds fired her up an crank no start checked the fuel to the rail no pressure guess what hole in the gas tank drained all my gas out. so i pored some fuel in the air flaper an whamo shes alive new tank comen soon but I'm sure cleaning the grounds an c101 didnt hurt it

Well I'm under the hood looking at the spegitti an thinking is there an aftermarket dealer like painless i can get to just replace all this antique garbage? Just seems like I'm eather gona make it worse or only temp fix by reconnecting an cleaning all the wires crystler didnt seem to have any.

Well i think ill start with getting a multi meter an some electrical gell an some new ground wires. If that don't do it ill take on tryn to adjust the cps never done any electric work other then house stuff. Looks like crusers page pretty much walks ya through it. I'm pretty sure its an electrical problem because it ran great tell i messed with the idle air control an the fuel rail leak. I dunno if they replaced the hole distubter but i remember a family friend shocken the hell out of him self as my pops keept turning it over funny as hell great memory but i dunno if they ever got it right or not.

Reading through them now 101 connector seems a possability new grounds. an ya new fuel filter. gona start tearing into wireing a land ive never explored call the parts guys am getting a multi meter an a fuel pressure checker some dielectric gel an roll the sleves up. can't make it run any worse then it is i guess

Also changed oil/filter an sea foamed it. Went over the vacuum line with black tape where elbows that where loose oil smells of gas like its running rich maybe?

Well hello all been reading on here for abit now got a family kick down 88 mj 4.0 manual 5 speed because no one could figure out how to get it to run befor i got it the cps went out an the last guy put a new distributed new cpu new cap wires fuel regulator an timing chain ,but couldnt get spark or fuel i changed the cps after all ur input and after 4 years of sitting it lived again shortly i had flushed the gas add new an flushed the super nast radiator rust tell it was clean put new hoses on. It top an buttom then it sprang a leak in the fuel rail so i put an o ring on the fuel line and sprayed some carb cleaner in the air flap an cleaned the idle air control put it all back togater an fired her up she ran horable started back firing lossing power won't idle right now an ideas why?
