  1. Got the valve cover off and started it. Everything working as should, then I noticed little bubbles popping up all around. Nothing big but still they are there. Any thoughts?
  2. Checked the oil and no water in it. None in the air filter CCV. Inside the oil fill cap no goop. What about the knocking sound?
  3. I started having a knocking sound after changing the oil in my 91 Comanche. I opened up the oil fill cap and all is good, then I un-hooked the intake vacuum from the valve cover to look in there and it is filled with a yellowish goop. Any ideas as to what would cause this problem?
  4. Thanks for all the help. Wasn't thinking when I started this. What I'm doing is swapping complete interior. So now I'm thinking of just painting the column to match the swap. Should have figured that out first.
  5. The auto is column shift.
  6. I have two comanche's, one is a 4 cyl 5sp, the other a 6 cyl auto. What is involved in swapping them?
  7. I will be lifting it also, probably 4.5". What lift lit would be the best for light wheeling and on-road use? Also, will the interior swap over easily, wanting to use the harness and everything from doors for power windows and locks? Is there anything else that I will need?
  8. I have just acquired a 91 Comanche Sport that is 2wd, I6, auto. Was wondering what my options are for a 4x4 conversion. I have a donor XJ that is 4wd. It is a 94. Could I swap the trans, trans case, and axels to make this work?
  9. Seems like I have seen a plug-n-play harness on Ebay lately!
  10. Still working on it, not giving up yet. Think I may have it figured out. With the relay jumped I got power to the fuel pump connection. So now I'm thinking pump. Today I ordered a Bosch 69302 pump, Airtex FS104 strainer, and Spectra LO01 lock ring w/seal. Will be here Friday, hoping that is it! Thanks everyone for your input.
  11. Nothing on C.
  12. Ok I'll bite, how much will it cost me?
  13. Alright, with the C103 unplugged, I have nothing at the Relay 30 pin. When you say power to the C103 do you mean to the solid orange wire? Confuzing!!!
  14. Thanks, I'll give that a try in the morning. Will update what I find. Thanks to all ahead of time who take time to help with everyone's problems. This jeep is a whole new game for me, I'm usually messin with my TJ and Brute Jeep.
  15. 12 volts.
  16. What about the fuel pump?
  17. 12 volts. Getting none at the fuel pump connection.
  18. Ok, I have power to the Relay pin 30. Flat harness looks fine, cleaned it up good. Still nothing. Turn key and hear a clunk at the tank, but that's it.
  19. My plan is to move everything from the XJ to the MJ.
  20. You will need the "thru 1998" cartridge. OBD II and OBD I are not interchangeable. The unit uses the Cartridges to tell it what to do.
  21. Well, the 92 XJ sold on me, so now I am looking at a 94. Everything still the same, including the MJ HO sending unit?
  22. Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow.
  23. Nothing to Resistor.
  24. I di re-do all the grounds. What next?
  25. Replaced ALL four relays. Jumped the Resistor, still no luck. The plug-in going to the fuel pump only shows .35 volts what else?
