Yes they are getting harder to find and if you do find one they want an arm and a leg for them..

I'm in search of a head for a 1987 Jeep Comanche head for a 2.5L 4 Cylinder for reasonable price

Hell I don't know if Dakota would fit or not I don't want to buy one for a dakota and it not work out cause Then i would be ticked cause i spent money on something non useful to me

I have looked thru the classifieds on here and i havent found nothing reasonable close to me to attempt to even look at

I have all the wiring carb accessories exhaust... I have everything for the motor I even have the transmission that was with the motor from when it was in another jeep

The head is warped and somebody went and tried to tap one of the valve cover bolts out and they ended up snapping the the tap off inside the head and I tried everything to get it out and can't manage to get it out... And I was going g with the 2.8 cause like I said it was laying around in the garage and I couldn't find a head for the 2.5 for a reasonable price

I had mine sprayed by a pro so it wouldnt get messed up cause i didnt want to mess up... all my electronics are waterproof or in a water proof sealed box

the 2.5 needs a head and i have this laying around and i don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a head to put on the 2.5

its just what i have laying around at my house.

I pulled all my carpet and rubber coated my floor boards cause it sees alot of water and it just drains out..

Hello I'm new to this Forum and I own a 1987 Jeep Comanche MJ with the 2.5 4 Cylinder 5 speed transmission with 200,000+ miles on it. I was wanting to put a 2.8 V6 in it and keep the 5 speed manual in it, i was just wondering if i could keep the same bell housing for the 2.5 or would i have to find a bell housing to fit the 2.8 V6
