Lurch can you send me pm on how you lowered your MJ looking to drop my new project

I've searched and come up with blocks for rear anyone have any pics of a MJ lowered with 2" or 3" blocks on rear. For the front would you cut the springs on it or junk yard find TJ, or buy eibock lowering springs Would love to see anyone's lowered 2wheel drive. I'm look for performance not low rider status. Nothing crazy just want to tuck tires into fenders a-little. I've read hitting oil pain is a problem when dropping it more than 3". Is this true for 350 vs 4.0? Anyone else have a lowered v8 MJ?

235/75/16 BFG should fit nice tucked under the fenders since this one is 2WD my thoughts are to drop all the way around 2". So that the reason for the 235's

Yesterday put some new kicks on it. Had some 16 Moab lying around so loaded them up and of to the shoe store.

Picked up a sweet diamond in the rough and have to say it is a fun 2wd to drive with a ton of power with the 350. Was going to do a 4x4 swap but think I'm might just drop it 2 inch all around and throw my Moab rims laying around on it and just enjoy it as is.

What size tires do you have on the Moab.

Well update. Motor back together with all the upgrades and she sounds and run great. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Now back to the MJ build.

Found a nice donor XJ 91 4.0. Anything I need to know if dropping into MJ. Does 91 and 88 have same trans and transfer case?

What's everyone's opinion on the Clearwater new 0331cylinder head with int 2.02 EX 1.62? I can get it for 550-600.

7120 is that a direct bolt on. I'm ordering a header to replace the stock have found a tupy and a 7120 head.

Ok would you order a Clearwater Head,Edelbrock, or a 505 Performance stage 1 4.0 Head pros and cons this will be going on a 2000 XJ 4.0

Ok question if the head isn't cracked would you still put it back or upgraded to a better head while you have it off.

Heads off thus far blown head gasket In between 3-4 cylinders

So "Cracked Head" is that what's going on.

PO303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected I can't see any name or number through oil cap hole. Getting ready to run compression test.

I am losing coolant. Haven't done a compression test yet.
