swapped the IAC... might be better.. need to adjust the plunger and put some more miles on it to find out...

After a little more searching online I found so,etching listed under a 86 cherokee 2.5.... SMP SA4... Hd it in stock and will hopefully swap out tonight

ok.. IAC... I searched the forum and some other sites (RockAuto) and I could not find a listing for the IAC where exactly is this located on the 2.5L engine.. I hate to ask such a noob question, but i really know very little about these early 86-90 FI systems...

S I've been DD my MJ for a few days now since my wife's truck is in the body shop and I've noticed a few things that aren't 100 percent right.. The truck seems to hunt for idle at times and doesn't idle smooth... I can see the hood vibrating a bit... Also after crusing and shifting into neutral to brake the idle will drop real low almost to a stall.. It's a 86 2.5l manual trans. Recent tune up and fresh fuel... Any thoughts where to start..

yeah I think shims are more in line for the use my trucks gets..

I think I'm getting some sag on my 86.... Top door seal isn't stopping the water like it should... I know this topic has prob been beat to death, but have people found luck with shims or swapping out the pins?

I’m looking for a rear spring pack for my MJ... I know motion off-road made one, but there number is disconnected and website is down.. anybody have any forward info for them or another vendor I can order a spring pack from?

1500.. jasper means nothing these days.. there quality has gone the way of all the major rebuilders.. 10 years ago... a Jasper engine was as good as OEM..

Well there is no "true" MJ floor pans available aftermarket.. They use the XJ template, but the rear of the MJ floor as we all know is different.. I am wondering if an XJ carpet would be a better fit once the back is trimmed..

I was having an oil change done on the MJ this weekend and the mechanic called me and said the rear prop valve was rusted, missing, or something t that effect.. I wanted to replace the brake lines, wheel cyl, etc.. but I’m trying to locate this part and can't.. any help on what this is..

I saw those.. my question is: I used replacement floor pans when I did the floors.. I know they are not exactly the same as the original floors.. will I be able to tell with the carpets?

if so from where? I have seen a few options via google.. didnt know if there was any feedback..
