The doors i pulled off of my comanche had the vent windows in them, but the new ones don't and i would like them in my new doors. I saw that there a 2 screws in the top of the door, and was wondering if there was any other trick to getting these out besides taking those screws out.

When i go to put my new bed on, i am going to need all new bolts, and was wondering if there were specific bolts (length, thread size....)or if any type of bolt would do.
-
I finally got the bed off today. I think i have 1 bolt left of the 8, the other 7 met the saw-zall.
-
Yea thats the thing with this, i'm learning as i go
-

Got bored today so decided to see what the tires from my xj looked like on it. Definitely better looking, gonna switch them out when its on the road. Might even be able to run 31's on it if my lift doesnt come right away

here's what my driver side floor looks like. Not as bad as i thought it was going to be, still needs a lot of work. Thankfully the passenger side only had one small whole and some surface rust.

I need to find the tensioner bolt for my 2000 cherokee to put my serpentine belt back on. No junkyards around me have one so i;m looking for help from anyone with a jeep like mine that might have an extra laying around or who knows where i can get one
-

-
yea hopefully i can find a cluster with the tach, it's not a real priority right now but something that will happen in the near future
-
i can put the screws back in easy without the belt on, i'll do that an then try the bolt to loosen it. Thanks to both of you for the help
-
well i think i was only supposed to loosen them but screwed up an took them all they way out so now i'm in a jam....

Mine is the idiot lights with the speedo having the 5 mph intervals, i just hate the idiot lights, a tach isn't too important to me, but one would be nice. I just want those lights gone

This question is not for a comanche, but my cherokee 4.0, being the same motor i figured the same processes apply. My chilton told me to loosen the bolts of the power steering fluid resevoir, and this would loosen the belt. I removed the old belt, and put the new one on, and now to put the bolts back in i need to feed them through the holes in the power steering pulley. The problem is the pulleys won't spin and i can only get one bolt in to place, and i am having trouble aligning the resevoir to its brackets. IF anyone has any tips or suggestions please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated

yea, i have a bit of a temper at times too. i wanted to put my vehicles in my signature, but i don't know how. And with the gauges, i wasn't aware that there were multiple sets, i thought all MJ's had idiot lights like mine, and all cherokees have the full gauges. Sorry for the snapping there, it pushed me the wrong way and i had just woke up too
-
Yea....thats how i took it
-
Well sorry that i'm new and don't have too much experience with certain things, all i get told is ask questions (smile face) ask questions, sorry i wasn't "specific" enough for your liking, i didn't know there were multiple gauge sets thats why i asked, so maybe before you jump to chewing people out you should think about how much they know. Sorry for getting mad, but all i'm trying to do is get my project done, and i'm gonna have alot of questions

Well yesterday i pulled the seat out and pulled my carpet......not good, but i knew it was coming when i saw carpet from underneath. Now i got sidetracked because my altenator burned up in my xj, so theres more money away from the process

i was wondering how hard it is to swap gauges for the better looking XJ gauges
