  1. And lastly a picture of the tires on it and actual ride height. Those are 17 wide 40 tall gumbo monster mudders. Picked them up cheap with decent tread. The truck leans towards the drivers side some. The drivers coil spring is weaker then the passenger side. About 1.5" to be exact. Thinking about cuttig the stronger one down a little to even it out. Whys everyones thought on that? Also, has anyone made there own tracbar setup? I'm thinking about building my own frame mount bracket and welding a mount on top of the axle tube and making a tracbar from heim joints off of three point arms. It will be a straight tracbar, does that matter?
  2. YES!!! Those are spacers under the springs. This is a budget build so I'm cheating a little. Those are 3 inch springs with 3 inch spacers welded up top and 4 below. Eventually I will end up swapping in heavier axles and I can do a better setup then. This is just a quickey so I can hit the trails long enough to tear these axles up.
  3. After getting the rest of the arms welded up. And getting the top link fabbed up and tacked on. I'm going to add some triangular braces on each side of the arms to brace it better.
  4. Another picture of the bracket.
  5. here's a picture of the bracket I made. 1/4" steel. Maybe a little light but most aftermarket stuff for these is 1/4" steel. Oh and no comments on the welding❌ I'm no pro but I make due.
  6. After cutting the stock mounts off, or what I called " the point of no return! "
  7. Well guys. Ive been working on lifting my jeep up! I'm in the middle of building my own longarm setup. Figured id share a few pictures. Not super sure how you all do it but this is my attempt. If it dosnt work out, I'll start over.
  8. Ok. Yeah i don't wanna lower it any just want it to flex a little better.
  9. Well guys. I ordered a LUK flywheel from ebay tonight and a used master/slave setup for the ax15. The hydraulics were $40 shipped. And gauranteed to work or money back. Not bad at all.
  10. Well, to be fair the extended length you cited was off by three inches. That's enough that it could have made the difference between fitting and not fitting. When I took the 4" lift off my '88 MJ, the lift shocks were much too long. I had a pair of shocks that I wanted to use, and fully extended they were half an inch too short to even put on the vehicle. An extra three inches would have meant I could have used them. Yeah you were totally right. I didnt even realize I wrote 21.3 I meant 23.1 ! Must be my dyslexia sinking in haha
  11. Okay, and yeah i knew I did'nt have the lengths down to the last numbers. Just trying to be simple. And I was able to keep my factory mounting points. By using the plate with the mount for the shock in the same place as before the swap.
  12. Well I just talked to the guy I got it from. He says its definitely the original engine. And he says it ran before he swapped the tranny. Yes, transmission! He said it had the BA10 before. He said he thought he used the flywheel that was on the engine but hes not totally sure. From the pictures I took i'm thinking its got the wrong one on it. I'm going to put the right crank sensor on tomorrow Nd see what happens though.
  13. Here are som pictures I took while rolling the engine over.
  14. The code on the engine says, 8 i 2 m x i 2
  15. I'm sure the motor is factory! Its all too clean and NOTHING is missing underhood. So Id say you are all right, it has a 94+ bellhousing. Now the big question is what flywheel did this fella use!!!!!
  16. Just looking at it I can't really tell.
  17. I'm going out to look now!
  18. Well I'm actually starting to put this together now. I think the previous owner swapped the tranny and transfer case. Becuase I have some issues with my shift linkage for my 4 wheel drive too. I'll slowly get this figures out.
  19. Thanks alot! I guess I'll be looking for a whole setup.
  20. So here is the crank sensor that was plugged in but not bolted to the bellhousing. An here is the one that was bolted to the bellhousing but not plugged in. The plug is different too!
  21. So then what are the chances of me buying a master/slave combo and just replacing the whole thing? I wonder if it will bolt to the firewall!
  22. Static height measurement is 17" from center of stud to stud.
  23. And here is the hose with the metal end on it. If you pull it towards the slave it looks like it hooks to it. Just not the one thats on there!
  24. Here is the slave that he gave me. Same as the one on the trans!
  25. Here is the slave cylinder currently bolted to the tranny with the plastic line cut off of the back!
