So the swap is working...my Facebook page has pictures (follow the link in my signature to see)...it looks good. I used light gauge plated steel structural material to mount the light....

Nice mod to fit those...they look great

I couldn't stomach the prices on the Comanche taillights and the fact that they are used....so I attempted the taboo Dakota light swap...I'm doing mine like I describe below. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. The trick with this is that the taillights need to be flipped upside down....passenger on the driver side and driver side on the passenger...the contour is much closer to the Comanche body contourthis way...I trimmed the plastic slightly on the backside to facilitate sliding the fixture into the slimmer Comanche tail light slot.(of course adding a extra port to the dak light) There will be only a slight gap by the tailgate 1/2" or less...I'm using angled aluminum to mount mine....I'll update this thread with how I finish mine out and pics The best part is that I'm not permanently modifying the bed to do this.

I cut down a Cherokee headliner and it fits pretty well...I also installed an overhead light with reading lights and added a Pontiac lighted mirror

Light bar is in....lights on order....more to come....having issues with the panel lights and since I deleted the foot brake I'm thinking of moving the fuse box to the side wall

Going from tan interior to grey and black...put in the grey dash from a 96 today..deleting bench going to buckets...center console...needing to sort out the wiring....it's a little messy...4.0 renix with 4x4... Have a 96 steering column I might add in but mine has tilt so I'm not sure about the wiring in that... Will post pictures soon...on my phone currently...
