Dash lights and taillights are not illuminating, already tried a new headlight switch, bulbs are good. The fuse keeps popping and ive already tried the upgrade ground under the dash. I'm now lost on what to try next.

So I went up to the mountains today to play in the snow and I notice I could not engage my transfer case out of 2 hi at any speed but when I try at a complete stand still it's no problem. I'm sure the linkage does not need any adjustments, I think it might be something internally.

So my adjuster got back to me about my truck and with the inspection that was done on the truck and it looks like my bumper and the brackets were the only things that are truly damage and will be replaced. But the radiator won't be replaced because the place that look at my jeep couldn't really figure out how the radiator was slightly damaged because all my mounts are good but the radiator does not leak so that does not really bother me.

Thanks guys for your imput. i just hopeing it might be fixable because I was able to drive it back the two blocks to my house, but like many of you have said its most likely totaled.

So last night my Comanche was rear ended on the ps. I was at a complete stop when the other car hit me somewhere between 25 or 30mph. I'm fine but the bumper is slightly push down on ps and it looks like the impact pushed the drive up and tapped the radiator( it now has a slight curve). Is there anywhere I should also look for damage because I would still like to keep the truck but I have a feeling the insurance company might write it off as being totaled.

well I feel like an idiot, after taking the rear main cap of to do the Rms again just in case it was leaking again, I notice that I left part of the multi piece gasket on the rear main cap.

Oil is slowly leaking from the back of the eninge only when in gear. I've just replaced the timing chain and decided to replace the oil pan gasket from cork to a fel pro one piece and that's when my problems began. I have also replaced the Rms less than six months ago.

My dana 35 does not have c clips. Would it be worth building it up or upgrading it to a different axle like a Chrysler 8.25 or ford 8.8?

I figured it out, the connector on the dr behind the rear axle was fun of mud and stuff.

I've put a new socket and that didn't work, what grounds should I be looking for because I've cleaned the ground behind the drivers side taillight, what other grounds do I need to clean?

My right rear taillight does not blink but illuminates when I turn my lights on. I've replaced the bulbs and checked the flasher relay and nothing has fixed the problem.

The gas gauge on my 89 MJ keeps fluctuating. When i drive below 25 or stop, the gas gauge drops about quarter tank then when i drive above 35 the gauge needle goes back to where it should be. I think it might be something with the fuel pressure but if someone knows what it might be that would be helpful.

Parking brake assembly price?

So I'm looking for a parking brake assembly for a spare so i can still have one in my truck for when i need to rebuild the one in my truck right now. If i find one what would be the average price i would pay for one?

What brand of gasket remover did you use?

Yeah, I made sure all the bolts are off. I'm messing with a 26 year old original gasket, you would think it would be easier to remove the pan.

Still can't seem to get my pan off, I have manage to break two flat heads and a metal scraper and the rubber mallet does not seem to do a lot of good. Are there any other methods because this job is starting to make me really frustrated.

Same here I'll try a mallet again but where would recommend hitting the pan because i was hitting as close to where the pan has 90 degree angles

So I'm replacing the rear main seal but I have run into a problem. My oil pan is stuck to the engine block. I tried to the side of the pan with a mallet, used a scraper and could only get to the front corner loose because of spacing i can't get the scraper and hammer where I need it. Is there any other method of getting the pan off because I can't think of any other method and i really want to get this project done with.

I acquired a free canopy the other day. There is a lip that causes the canopy not to sit on the bed all the way making the back sit about an inch and a half off the edge. I thought about trimming the lip till the canopy sits better on the truck bed. I've never worked with fiberglass, so how difficult would it be to trim the lip and patch the part i've cut off. All feedback given will be great.

Roughly what size coil spacer would I need to make my truck level, I don't like how the front sits lower then the back but I like the height it sits at.

Thanks that fixed my problem, the ground was a little rusty and needed to be sanded down a little.

So my rear passenger side tail light does not flash when i put my turn indicator on to turn right, the front works fine. It does illuminate when i turn my lights on. I first notice this when i replaced my bulb. I've checked fuses and the relays. I think it might be a ground somewhere in truck bed area, does anyone know where those grounds might be or what it might be.
