  1. Snapped the rear anti rock at the rubicon.
  2. Time for some overdue updates. I went to Moab and the Rubicon. Had a ton of fun. I also got the best upgrade you can get. A trailer!
  3. Pic with the bumper off and winch still crammed in.
  4. The winch stopped working a few months back. I finally had time to pull it apart and see what the problem is. Turns out the motor failed in a spectacular way. Ordered a new motor for $85 so not too bad.
  5. The elusive hovering Comanche! 13 years later, this photo has been finally been beaten. thanks for that ryan! Nice! Next time I find a little kicker I hope to do better. It was a smooth landing at this speed but I had flat tow it home and did not want to risk breaking anything.
  6. Thanks. I'm definitely not afraid to use it. I have had the truck out a bunch of times and beat on it way harder. No problems yet. I think the problem was the cv joint cage thingy lol. I replaced it with a spicer instead of that p.o.s. china cv that Tom Woods now uses and it is good to go. I will not be using Tom Woods again that is for sure.
  7. Sorry don't really have any updates. I just bought a house and started a new job so I have not had much time to play with the jeep lately. I do have a Moab trip coming up in October. I have some things I need to do to the Jeep before that. Pic's to follow.
  8. Here is the take off. I think I could have hit it a lot faster. The landing was smooth. I don't have a flatbed trailer yet so I did not want to risk breaking something like a ball joint.
  9. Been a while since I posted but I'm still having fun.
  10. And here is what happend last weekend. This was the first trip out after the new T-case. It broke before I even locked the front hubs in. I'm not sure why it broke. May have been a bad yoke? I hit a set of whoops and a few G outs when I first got to the desert and it was fine. Then I added some nitrogen to the shocks since one of my friends had a tank with him. I went to test them on a mid size set of whoops and it broke right away. The angles are good and it has plenty of slip in the saft so it did not bottom out. I already fixed it. Now I have to go try it again.
  11. Here is a few pics from the run I did to the Dusy.
  12. Got the Atlas in. It took a long time. I had some other things I had to get done (non Jeep related :( ) and then I had some problems with the install. It's a tight fit but it works now.
  13. Are you the one who did the engine build and 1999 xj swap? I just finished a Atlas transfer case install so I'm definantly not planing on selling it any time soon unless you want to offer me some unreasonably high amount of money lol.
  14. Sorry about that. I forgot about this site. My bad. I have been enjoying this truck all year long. I will add some pics soon. I did the Dusy Ershim trail last month. It was a blast. Transfer case started making noise part way through the trail. Once I was done with the trail it would not come out of 4 low. Took the case apart and a bearing went out in the tera 4:1 kit. What a P.O.S. I gave in and ordered a Atlas. Should be here in a week or so. I can't wait to install it and get my truck back on the trail.
  15. Some from Dish pan springs, Gold mountain and near White mountain.
  16. Finally got some new Pic's. Did a run in Big Bear. This is John Bull trail.
  17. I got it to use it that's for sure. I do still take care of my stuff though. Just waxed it and repainted some stuff today. Most of the scratches came out of the paint and the sliders and bumpers look as good as new.
  18. Modified the rear fenders a little. Cut the lip off. Looks a lot more clean.
  19. Rustys off road. They looked good new but did not hold up well on the trail. They do bend and flex some but as soon you lean on them a little more they crack. They have a fiberglass center.
  20. Decided to sneak in a pic of my old Cherokee that me and my friends built a few years back.
  21. Some Pic's from a recent trail run.
