  1. No it's not but yet been quite some time. Last build was a CJ 3b, Buick dauntless v6, th400, dana 300, trooper rear, lp 44 front. 4.56 gears welded rear, 34's sprung over. I'm starting to lean toward 63" width and lighter.
  2. Oh I'm definitely with you, how wide is an 8.8? I just got such a good deal and knowing it's strength it's hard not to want to run it. I've been on the fence about the weight and size as well as the width. It's about 67.4" wide.
  3. My 60 is 35 spline so there's no arguing it's stronger in every way.
  4. I want the width regardless
  5. I've decided to at least run 37's. After researching 44's weight difference is neglible for my rig and I got a good deal on this axle with no need to mod brakes or anything so I'm going to run it.
  6. There is no state inspection here in SC. Can I do without the EGR?
  7. I have many other threads and as always people have conflicting information. Some say you have to weld new bungs or mod wiring etc.
  8. With the new downpipe do I then have to reconfigure EGR and oxygen sensor in any way?
  9. Obviously the header is a mod, I don't want to mod the header. Thanks for the info.
  10. Change the downpipe to what? I don't want to mod anything, just want to bolt it on
  11. Does anyone have a header that'll bolt up to my 89 4.0? Even if it's an already modified pacesetter. Borla would be premium or any other good option. Manifold is leaking and want to improve air flow in and out. Will pay top dollar. Thanks!!
  12. The Super Duty pickup trucks do have a metric bolt pattern however the full size Ford fan has kept the traditional standard 8 lug pattern throughout their production.
  13. It's 8 lug but it's definitely 8x6.5
  14. 67.378" is I believe the official measurement. Looking for a 3/4 ton HP DSD front to pair up. I'm selling the 4.10 and Limited slip from this axle, in good shape.
  15. Update, picked up axle. It's a 3/4 ton 2004 E250 Semi Float 35 spline limited slip with dual piston calipers
  16. I think I did great on the axle too, just need an appropriate front now!
  17. What troubles did you run into on the front?
  18. Okay thanks! Gear changing is not an issue that's just what is in the axle already
  19. It's 35 spline FF smooth bottom from an E350. 3.5 inch tubes.
  20. My rear 60 is out of an E350
  21. What axle do you suggest that isn't "overkill" that is 67" wide?
  22. But if I have to buy an axle and swap it at least I have the option to increase tire size later without swapping again.
  23. Why do you think I'm doing 3/4 rear and ton front?
  24. So I just picked up an 89 Pioneer 4.0 auto. Has 35/30 setup. I picked up a late model Ford Rear 60 with 4.10's, LS, Discs. Going with a matching late model Ford front 60. Has anyone run this setup? Rear should be simple, staying with packs sprung over at 6". Trying to decide on the front end, links? Covert to packs? Any advice would be appreciated. Staying with the 4.10's. Selectable in front and 35's. For now running stock tranny and T-Case. Likely build a 4.2 with 4.0HO Head this winter. Going rail bed on this project too, bed will be up for grabs in classifieds.
