  1. Great idea on the fenders. It is the best because of the price I got it for, with all the goodies.
  2. Contacted advance adapters figuring they have dealt with this issue. They referred me to Nevada speedometer. Gave them a call and they custom built the cable I needed.
  3. Two lengths? Some work some don't? Some are better than others? I have a list of parts to scrounge for at the wrecking yard in the next week or so
  4. Has anyone used cherokee metal inserts on a manche? http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=206387 http://www.jcroffroad.com/product/XJTLHSG97.html Would be a little pricey but much more heavy duty replacement. Also a unique look.
  5. Due to Klune-V under drive my t-case is moved back 8-10" and the stock cable does not reach. I know there are multiple companies out there where custom cables can be ordered. I would like to know the specific ends needed when ordering. I can figure out the length from the old cable. Also I would like any companies you can recommend or have worked with.
  6. Great points... I am finding there is alot of work to be done. The b-pillar lights in mine only work when manually rotated/turned on. I am unsure if I have lights under the dash, but with the door switches seemingly not working I have some work just finding out what I have before I can even start.
  7. Has anyone used LED ribbon with adhesive to light up their bed? I have read on a few forums stories of people who tied in the LED's to cargo light or installed seperate switches. With comanches notorious for weak interior lighting I am thinking of also installing LED strips in the cab along the underside of the dash and possibly along the underside of the molding behind the seats. With the LED ribbon that can be cut to length, are the solder points straightforward +/-? Can i tie the lights into the door open/closed sensors due to the low draw? any thoughts, opinions, advice, or suggestions are greatly apreciated
  8. I realize now that what I need is sunvisors and the retaining clip. The retainer is what will hold the headliner the best where I need it. Does anyone knowwhere I can get a complete set or if cherokee ones will work interchangably? if so certain years?
  9. 1987 jeep comanche short bed 4x4 4.0 / 4spd auto Klune-V under drive 4:1 NP231 2.73:1 Front dana 30 chromoly shafts OX locker Rear Ford 8.8 chromoly shafts OX locker 8-9" lift on 35" MTRs Xrc8 Second jeep to 1999 wrangler 4.5RE on 33s Comanche is daily driver (when I choose to drive it) Gas tank relocated in bed.
  10. Mine looks fine, it's just the whole headliner sags(not just the fabric sagging from the foam). How can I secure the headliner to the underside of the roof?
  11. 87 comanche need help with headliner. Fabric and foam padding is in good shape, actual cardboard of structure of headliner sags and needs to be secured to underside of roof. How have you gone about doing this? Spray glue? Tabs/brackets?
