  1. Start with rotating your tires, track bar, then lower balljoints. Also stock up on PB blaster!!! And maybe a torch... Good luck!
  2. I tried spinning the new flywheel and all but 1 bolt would thread, it close but no dice. I got the original turned today and everything is going back together without a problem, thanks for all the help guys!
  3. Ok guess I'm gonna have to make the drive and get the original turned.
  4. Ok then the inner teeth have to match as well or I'll have a misfiring problem, right? Or am I over thinking this?
  5. Thanks I had to order it from the hub store. Here's another question, what are the teeth on the inner plate for. I know the outer plate teeth are for the starter. If the bolt pattern lines up the only difference will be the teeth on the inner plate.
  6. Damn, I didn't even think about that! The man info sticker is missing but I'm gonna head there ASAP to check it out. I'll report back with the results, thanks again!
  7. The one I bought was from auto zone and the part number was FW91004.
  8. I just bought a 90 2wd comanche 4.0l. I'm putting in a new clutch and flywheel in but the flywheel that autozone and advanced auto has doesn't work. They look very close but the bolt pattern doesn't line up. My next solution was to get the flywheel turned but the only place near me that still machines auto parts won't be able to do it for 5 weeks. Does anyone know where I can get a flywheel or the correct part number for one of the auto parts stores. Oh and I'm not sure which tranny I have. It's a manual 5 speed but I know there was a couple variants for that year just not sure which. If someone could tell me where to look or how to find out, that would be greatly appreciated to. Thanks. TJ.
  9. Thanks guys! The Cherokee isn't totaled it just needs a lot of work that surpasses the insurance companies standards of repair. From what I can see it needs a fender, hood, entire front end basically.

  11. So do you guys thing it be worth it (time/money wise) to buy back the Cherokee and put the work it to make my truck 4x4?! Or just find a 4x4 comanche to get parts off of?
  12. Both are 4.0L but the comanche is manual and the Cherokee is auto. And I'm not sure of the salvage price, I was gonna ask that but my last car which was a total loss was $800 for the by back price and that car was $7k.
  13. I recently bought a 90 comanche 2wd. And my mom just wreck my 2000 Cherokee. Can I use the Cherokee 4x4 parts; tranny, axles, etc to convert my comanche to 4x4? Please help the insurance company needs and answer for buy back ASAP!
