So I found this push bar that will fit a 92-96 Cherokee, but was wondering, would it fit my 1988 Jeep Comanche?

Yes. XJs and MJs are the same from the rear of the doors (4dr XJ only) forward for all MJ years and XJs 84-96. Obviously with small differences like engine bay 84-86 and grille, gauges, and a few other minor things 91-96.
And wow I just noticed the date, I'm sure you got your answer elsewhere by now, but ah well... my tiredness wins again! lol
