Cracker is dead on.
I have both removed the MJ gusset to find the exactly same LCA structure an XJ has, and I have gotten the Chrysler LCA BRACKET GUSSET offered when your LCA mounts on an XJ crack and must be welded; which is the EXACT reinforcement that is installed on the MJ from the factory.
Go dissect an MJ and you will understand. :)
I'm doing the wiring on Crackers conversion, we're missing that switch and part of the wiring. I may have to hit a junkyard then, and find the rest of it. :)
Did you wire in the power/comfort switch, or just hardwire it to power?

when you converted, did you use the brake pedal and brake light switches from an auto? Splice in the wiring as you went, or move a whole harness over?
