Thanks! The last guy installed the pulley with some locktite, but I got enough leverage to break it free. Now having fun with bleeding the Renix system. I'm going to drill a hole in the thermostat and hope that it works. :yes:

I'm trying to get the water pump out of my '89 Comanche 4.0, but cannot get it all the way out. My question: Do I have to remove the power steering pump? If so, how? I can't see where the center nut is to loosen and remove the aluminum bracket that allows the PS pump to tension the belt. If not that, can I remove that pulley that is in the way of the iron water hose pipe on the left? I tried and it seemed to be way too tight to try to remove.
