  1. I appreciate the help but the diagram you have there as far as I can ell appears to be for one of the other clock plugs aside from mine (supposedly there's 3) I have a 10 pin connector with 5 being used all on one side pink - grn/blk - blk - orange/blk - blue/red on the jeep side of the connector
  2. Unfortunately it appears as though the ONE source everyone on the web relied on for this info is KAPUT http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoDashClock.htm I have a Nippon Seiki clock that I'd like to install but I have no idea what the pinouts are?
  3. My 2wd 5 speed 4.0HO powered sport xj is really surprising me with a running average of 20.8mpg in mixed driving over the past 4 fillups. Best of all this thing is a rocketship compared to the 16mpg 4.0ZJ it replaced or my lifted and locked yj EDIT: If you have speedo accuracy questions and use an iphone there's an app that's a "GPS" speedometer. I use it and have tested it and it's dead on accurate
  4. First off I would like to thank you fellas for all the business from parting out my MJ last year (still have some stuff). In the process I've really come to like this forum, for whatever reason It just seems to be more mature and most importantly polite than your average Jeep or Cherokee specific board. So now as the owner of a recently acquired DD 92 XJ in the ever elusive 4.0 2wd stick configuration I think I'll come here first with all my technical questions. After all from the door handles forward you guys are as sharp on XJ's as you are your beloved MJ's :D
  5. I'm looking for a instrument cluster for my Sport xj. I want full instrumentation with the electronic speedo 91-96 contact rdale001@gmail.com
  6. :agree: That's it. I wonder what it's doing underneath an MJ? I guess we can add 7.25 to the list of possible MJ axles why add it. it's the equivelant of a dana 35...which never shoulda been in our jeeps anyways. who said I was going to do that?
  7. LOL you guy's too :brows: It's got a couple of small tags attached (see pic) I'll crawl underneath it tomorrow and see if I can read what they say it's a chrysler 7.25. scrap it. :agree: That's it. 8. LOL you guy's too :brows: It's got a couple of small tags attached (see pic) I'll crawl underneath it tomorrow and see if I can read what they say. The axle appears to have not had any perches or any hardware moved/removed but is may have been a replacment unit from a boneyard because of the grease pen markings shown in this altered pic. 9. This has the other jeep forums and ar15.com stumped so I thought I'd register here and let you fellas have a crack at it. To my untrained eyes this appears to be similar to a D44, or rather it's odiously not a AMC20 nor does it resemble a D35 as the sides are flat and the top of the cover is peaked....however to me it also doesn't quite look like the D44's I'm used to seeing because the bottom of the cover is somewhat flat and there's only 9 bolts retaining the cover. What you're looking under is a 4x2 89 Jeep MJ long bed with a 4.0 and a BA10-5 I traded an astro van for. I'm debating fixing and selling vs parting out. If this a d44 it would be too valuable to me underneath my 91yj to let go. So what is this abomination? speculation as to the ratio would also be welcome Image Not Found Image Not Found
