here's my 89 renix setup, piece of 3" exhaust pipe shoved into the OE intake tube and i brazed some fittings into the pipe to attach the needed hoses K&N 6x9 3" opening

thank you so much i have been fighting some issues ever since my header install and have read both service manuals i have and numorous sites and havent had any luck but theres plenty of info in here that i will have to try out
