I might be mistaken but isnt an 86 powered mechanically and an 87 electronic

hey guys i have a a 1987 manche and it is that burgundy color . when i got the truck i figured that i ought to just keep it the same and not change anything. but as time went on i learned more and more about the truck and how to fix certain things up........ so eventually i took all of my trim off and i spray painted it either semi gloss or a flat black...........i did all of the little stuff like tail lights with black outlines or whatever, then i bedlined rocker panels and bed........so i pulled my headlinerboard and i ended up using just burgundy fabric not fabric for a headliner(foam backed), then that fekl off in 1 month and long story short i took it out and took old fabric off and then dogsc hewed it up..........so i am ordering a custom headliner board with fabric already on it and a hole cut in it for my sunroof.so i decided instead of having all burgundy that i would put some black in the mix. so i am going to replace my carpet and change it out for black carpet and get an xj middle console paint it black and relocate my parking brake up to it... this is my naked roof... excuse the hole in the roof .....the p.o used tar to put it in i think! so i pulled the carpet backer board and i dyed it black. i am also going to get a black dash cover to cover a smalll hole in my dash. so give me an opinion how do you think this will look like all said and done guys?

So here is a picture of my interior now I pulled the backboard off of her yesterday and died it black. I am also doing the headliner in black and getting a black dash cover....... So what do you guys think this will look like when all finished... Good? Bad? Give me your opinion

I am looking for a center console to put in my manche..... It is a stick. Are there any xjs that had a e brake pedal instead of one in the console?

The 86' is a longbed.....would the leafs work on a shortbed?

Well the springs are red which is not stock i soppose and there are no spacers i checked.

Hey ther I'm having a dillema i have an 86 junk manche with what appears to have a 3-4" lift on it and i am wondering can i take the front coils off of that and put them on the front of my stock 87'? and i know that i need new shocks if i lift it. So give me an opion do you think that a comanche lifted about 3-4 inches in front will look good?

Has anyone used a dash cover in there comanche because i have a hole in my dash that i patched with bondo and i am going to buy a custom dash mat so if anyone has had any experience with these or have one please tell me whats up...........pics would be awesome

So i took apart my steering coulumn so i can put loctite on the tilt bolts......i am only going to loctite 3/4 of them because i can't reach the 4th and don't want to go any deeper than i already am. I'm having a dillema i cannot reach the bottom left and the top left bolt i already got the bottom right one out and loctited it, but i need to know how to get to those hard to reach bolts and what tools i need. I would post pictures but i cannot on mobile. So anyone please help me out :)

Today i cut my exhaust back about 3 1/2 feet because my pipe was rusty and it didnt look good with bumper on. I also kept my flowmaster tip on.......what do you think about this mod?
