  5. Dude that thing is crazy haha, I need a bigger lift for mine. I'll post a new thread when I can and send you some pictures of were I'm at now lol I need to get a clutch fan, I need to get the Key thing sorted out, and I don't want to say it but maybe a new clutch ehhh. but I think it will work with the first couple things in just fine.
  6. I don't know all that fan and battery stuff sounds cool, because all my friends from high school all have muscle cars and that its kinda cool :brows: but this truck is for offroad and joy use only it most certainly isn't my daily driver. But I'll keep all that in mind, I have a long way to go today, I'm on my way to work. So maybe by tonight everybody here we'll have a pretty agreed upon answer as to what to do lol answer :agree: I have four switches I got out of a cherokee that I put in place of the four that were around the steering wheel, so if that helps anyone else in my question, I could use those for ignition, battery, and blower etc. But I guess I shouldnt stray from the actual question, do I have to take the key ignition out to rewire how to start it, etc because my key is in lock position and I have no key, so yeah fastest start up lest amount of work lol 8) keep it going  to helping !!
  7. :help: OK so I posted some questions regarding my steering wheel locking, and after looking through your comments and suggestions, I really liked the Idea of having a switch to just flip to start my Manche. Well turns out I don't know how to do it :dunno: , if you could, please show me or tell me how! I just got a whole bunch of switches and Id love to have one be the ignition! I'm looking to do this tomorrow so heLP me out everybody, show me the way of Tech. :smart:
  8. settle down bro, I don't use it as a daily driver, i have a TJ for that, shes just a project truck thats only use is offroading :D
  9. Oh wow everybody thanks a lot, that link helped out but I kind of like the idea of a switch start..hmm bigd44889 you think maybe you could send me some Fo instructions for how to do it, I like that idea. I just bought all the switches that go in the dash but obviously I don't need a power transmission switch or a heated back window since I don't have either :D so I'd like to use those and get that done, so I'll prob Pm you but THANKS EVERYBODY!!!! :waving:
  10. Ok so me and a friend were sitting in my 87' Mj he was fiddling around with the steering when it locked. I was never given a key when I bought it due to it working without it, now I was really mad at the time :fs1: , but I knew my buddy was really good with Google and trusted that he'd find and way to solve this problem. The next day he called me and said most people with Xjs and Mjs that don't need the key and have locked there steering go to the dealer and have a key made, or the grab that steering wheel and turn it and break that son ah B, well I called the Dealer and they said that it was to old to make one from the vin :hmm: . So I grab that wheel and broke it. I could now steer it :D BUt then I realized that I couldnt turn the ignition key, OH KNOW!! :???: SO I was hoping that one of you experts could help me out, what you did, what you know people did, what can work, or just your thoughts on my situation compared to similar situations you had. Thanks everybody :wavey:
