  4. Hi everybody; I found this very helpful for this topic because 90% of the time you need to remove the shifter to change the boot.Is for a MJ but think is the same piece for the jeep comanche. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/shifter-boot-repair-rebuild-28766/

I´m not a expert mechanic but a friend of mine who is mechanical engineer will help me.I like challenges and give love to my Manche;) Thanks for the advises

  10. Hi, I'm looking for a hard plastic bed cover for my Comanche( tonneau cover) ? Any suggestion? Which is the exact size of the Comanche's bed?
  11. I wouldn't want to change the look of my Comanche adding a"no factory lights" :shake: You are right the best thing to do is to study the Spanish regulations about this issue.Maybe I find a "way" in it to export my Manche as it  .Thanks for you comment.
  12. Sorry guys for the spanish but is just a compliment text for our club member from Mexico. You can use the google translator ja,ja.. 13. It would be good to contact the european members of the club to ask for advice.Let me see if a found some of them
  14. I far as I know the Comanche was never exported officially to Europe( on the contrary to the Cherokee that was a huge success in that continent). Am I right?
  15. Thanks guys for the answers.Any idea how I can make a amber lights for my Manche ?
  16. Hi, Any one knows if the exists an European rear turn signal(amber) for Comanche? In order to circulate on an open road in Europe the vehicles need a amber turn light.Any idea were I can found it?.I thinking to import my Manche to Spain. Thanks
  17. Hi Guys, One question .The Jeep Comanche's 1991 6 cylinders engine is the same that the Jeep Cherokee's 1991 engine? I guess yes but i want to be sure.I need to buy a motor mount and a transmission mount for my Manche and they only have this parts for a Jeep Cherokee 91 engine.I think this is not important but my Manche is 4x4 Thanks
  18. Hi guys, I have seen on internet a very nice Comanche project that used a Tuff Country 3.5" lift kit.I have been searching on internet for that kit but I haven't found any Tuff Country 3.5" lift kit for Jeep Comanche.I'm starting to think that this guy has used a Jeep Cherokee lift kit for his Comanche....Is that possible? This is the Comanche project site:http://www.4x4wire.com/jeep/projects/comanche/suspension/ Thanks
  19. From my point of view, the tachometer is very important in a manual transmision car but the Comanche 91 hasnt't it.Instead of it it has an "Upshift indicator Light" (I don't like it at all).In my bike I can hear the sound of the engine and then change the gear but not in my Comanche, the engine is very silence especially on road.I'm thinking to change dashboard of my manche (manual) for the dash board of an automatic transmission Comanche or Cherokee( it has tachometer).¿What do you think people?...Thanks
  20. Hi Guys, finally I got my Comanche(long story).Checking the factory's tool kit I have realized that the spare tire winch is missed. ¿Where I can find it?¿It is that important or I can use another tool to do the job?.... Thanks
  21. Now that I know the weight of my Comanche ,the closer option is the Tirfor for 5291.09 lbs(2400 Kg) in the air as I know, pulling, the power is double(more easy work), but if still not enough a can add a pulley .The 4x4 experts say that the winch have to pull 2 times the weight of the vehicle ,so will be ok. Thanks guys for the info
  22. I need to know the weight of my jeep(1991 4x4)to buy a winch.I would like to buy a Tirfor manual winch. What do you think? Any experience with this winch?. Thanks guys
  23. Thanks guys for all the answers.I like the idea of a set of custom fender flares...Let see if i can do it. :???: I´m going to ask a friend who made it for a ralliy car. I will keep you inform
  24. I would like to match the rear and the front fender flares.I have seen on internet some Comanche wiht the front 2001 conversion that have small fenders flares rear and front.Where they found those? Do you know
