  5. Awesome thanks guys so basically to use the 95 motor with my 96 harness if have to use a second o2 but the rest should be plug and play and as for the tranny goes I think I got that figured out with out using a Tcu at all http://radesignsproducts.com/site/0cbe6b4845e04ad2ac00dc4b10d9c541/home?url=http%3A%2F%2Fradesignsproducts.com%2FHome.php#2512this guy makes shifters for the aw4 that let you $#!& gears manual just have to wire the silinoids up to micro switches and run a switch for the torque converter lock up should be pretty simple to do I'm gonna go with the fr1 he is still designing it for 4th gear sounds like well built stuff here
  6. Nice my second time there it's a pretty nice place And it's either the throw out or I popped a line in the bell housing I haven't even got it off the trailer yet but it's got fluid coming from the bottom of the bell housing. So I figured might as well pull the motor and do the swap while it's apart it can't be to bad other then having to do the entire harness
  7. No problem at all man just want to know what all I'm gonna have to hunt down to do it You go to southington a lot? I take it your from ohio or close to it
  8. I have a 96 motor full harness and everything but the hvac stuff I also have a complete 95 xj that I was going to use the motor out of. Both are or were 5 speeds. I was wanting to know if I could use the 96 harness with the 95 motor and the 95 hvac with the 96 harness? Then what all would I need to make an aw4 work with the 5 speed harness? It's going in my 88 2.5 ax5

  20. Yeah just a light spray working about 5 to 6 in back at a time seemed to work good andit is 3M i can take a picture of it later today cus i can't remrmber for sure
  21. Hmm thats good to know the front axle i am looking to get has 3.55s i was gonna jack the back up to check before i buy it and could tail shafts be swaped to make the 4 speed work? And thats shocking never knew that with 5th gear I'm still pretty new to the mj world lol
  22. So the bell housing will bolt up to the back of the block? And i don't think that would make to much of an issue slightly different drive shaft angles?
  23. No extra i had the head liner i just removed it and scrubed it with a dry brush i bought flanel fabric from my local craft store it was 5 foot long by almost 4 feet wide I then got the front edge lined up with a stripe on the fabric and just worked my way to the back using spray adhesive to stick it to the backer board the most important thing is to keep the stripes straight and keep wrinkles out After the top was done i flipped it over and trimed the fabric some then sprayed the back side of the head liner and worked my way around cutting the corners as needed It cost me about 15 bucks for the flanel fabric and around 7 for the spray adhesive and a few hours I'm putting it all together It was a fun project I hope this helps out
